There are words better left unsaid; Let tears dry on their own To heal the scars caused by love and fear To face what's unclear As murky as a pond of water Decorated with white lilies ** The world is cold, chaotic and unforgiving. However, it is solely up to us whether we allow ourselves to drown in its misery or choose to be happy. To attain happiness, we must grab it and ultimately, find our inner peace. The world is sad, dull and dreary, but that does not mean you should be, too. Photographer: Glenysse Gale Maligro Model: Eddy M'hrry Ziga Propsman: Stephen Quijano

Art represents a lot of things. It maybe physical reality or the mind's eye. Doing things like this is something that has been so enjoyable about Contemporary Arts, it is by the means by which it's pushed me to take in a medium that, truly, scared me. Oil painting and other types of painting appeared to be so genuine, specialized, and with strict principles. It's for the genuine craftsmen, not the trying ones. But, Contemporary Arts helped me to through it. I have learned a lot of things, not just about the different styles, mediums and techniques that you can use, but also the moral aspects. I learned how to pay attention on things as I vowed to keep myself focused so I could get it done as quickly as possible. And I trust myself more for I knew I could do it all on my own. I learned how to be bold, edgy and willing to take all the chances of being happy. VLOG: Art Representation of the Creation Story

I've never really considered myself as an artist. I've only ever held up a paintbrush, or an oil pastel whenever a teacher gives a project that requires it. This is a perfect example. Consequently, this also means that I have never explored Art deeper. As a beginner, I've used a typical oslo paper as canvass and just used oil pastel and colored pencils. They're very fun and easy to use. If there is one thing I've learnt, it's how to mix colors. And how sometimes, it can be very frustrating since you have to be very careful not to accidentally disrupt the already-mixed colors. I was really having trouble on how to deliver what my interpretation was, but this leaves me quite satisfied.
