"Formation" by Beyonce

     The song is all about black empowerment. It shows different issues and criticisms the black people are experiencing such as racism, unequal treatment and violence. We also noticed the symbolism of law enforcement agencies such as the police. They are linked to the wrong treatment of the blacks.

     At first, we were not able to identify the message of the song but after several times the music video was repeated, we were able to identify the symbolisms and made connections. First thing we identified was the police car that Beyonce was on top of. We used visual identification because we can't hear the lyrics properly.
